The STYLE Channel

Ok as most of you know, I am not a big tv person. I don't watch a lot of TV. The Bachelor on Monday nights -- and that is the TV lineup for Ally. Well...since I have been internet deprived (I'm on dialup as I type this) I have discovered STYLE TV. OK that is the best channel since...NBC. Seriously. Style Court, How do I look?, Clean House? Does it GET any better than that?

Maybe my new TV inspirations will help me with my writing. I don't think its kicked in yet.

Stay tuned!

Misplaced

I've been misplaced...

Am I in a box?
Am I under a rock?

I've been misplaced...

Will I be found?
Under a mound?

I've been misplaced...

Did you look?
Behind that book?

I've been misplaced...
Without a trace.

Life Destination

I look around me
Time represented by things
Tokens of the past,
Clocks of the present...

My mind journeys toward the future
And I am haunted by what could be...

A truth tainted by lies,
A destination unknown,
Dreams never realized,
Words I never dared to say...

What happiness, What greatness is possible
...in life filled with what ifs?

I shall never settle.
I will live for
Life's greatest fortune...
To die with no regrets.

Remember: it is foolish to burn bridges...

I wrote Life Destination as part of a poetry contest. THE TOPIC: FORTUNE: PAST, PRESENT and/or FUTURE

Dear Mom,

Prelude:  I feel a little lost in this world.  March 21st 2019 my mom was given a "death" sentence of Pancreatic Cancer.  They tol...
