My grandmother came to my sister's house last Thanksgiving. I remember she spent the entire week with us. We went shopping and cooked a crazy amount of food. This year is significantly different. She was unable to leave her nursing home and she barely knows who we are (only on good days). I just can't believe it.
Anyway, I have a lot to be thankful for this T'giving. I hope you do too.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Remember: Be thankful for good health.

QotD: Oh, but it's cold outside!
"Oh, but it's cold outside!" It's a fact of life that the economic climate is a bit chilly this holiday season. Is that affecting how you're doing your holiday shopping?
Oh yes definitely. We have a list and a wad of cash. We're paying cash for Christmas and when it runs out -- it runs out.
