Brain Power

I've always said, its not the muscles -- its not the clothes or eyes or smile...Its the mind I find attractive. Today, a co-worker and I were discussing intelligence. I asked him, do you think some people are just smarter than others? Or is it the people who aren't as smart, just haven't reached their potential - or discovered their true intelligence and appear that way? He feels that people are 'born' with a capacity. He said what is sad is when someone has the capacity and doesn't meet their highest potential...I would agree with that statement. He also said that he thinks its genetic and that personal interest drives the "subject" not the brain.....

For me, the jury is still out on this one. Maybe he's smarter than me. :) Is it genetic? Is it finite? Can some brains simply work better than others? Can everyone be taught equally?

Remember: No matter what the 'capacity'...You have a brain - Use it.
