When I was a Junior in High School, I got Mono -- with Thrombocytopenia. It landed me in the hospital for a week and homebound for 3.5 months. They never could figure out why I got so sick with Mono. I almost died!
Since that time, I have gotten some strange illnesses. I got Mono again, Strep in my joints, allergic reactions, extreme bouts of fatigue, pneumonia several times, sunlight sensitivity....sometimes my Mono spot comes back positive....just really strange medical things that never made sense...until I found out I probably had Lupus all of this time.
I really should have taken better care of myself...
Now, I just pray that my daughter doesn't get this.
We need a cure for this horrible disease.
